2 Tsp Olive Oil
1 LB Taco Seasoned 85% Lean Ground Beef
2 Garlic Cloves, finely chopped
2 Tsp All-Purpose Flour
2 Tsp Hot Sauce (such as Cholula), optional
8 Corn Tortillas, fried until crisp
One 16-oz. Can Refried Beans, warmed
Accompaniments: Shredded Lettuce, Diced Tomatoes, Shaved Red Onion, Queso Fresco, Guacamole, Cilantro Leaves, Sour Cream, and Lime Wedges
- Heat large nonstick skillet over high heat. Add oil then beef and sauté, breaking up meat, for 3 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Stir in garlic and 1 tsp. salt and cook 1 minute. Stir in flour. Add hot sauce, if using, and 1/3 cup water and cook 1 minute, or until sauce clings to beef. Season with salt.
- Spread beans over crisp tortillas. Divide beef mixture among tortillas. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, queso fresco, guacamole, cilantro, and sour cream. Serve with limes.
