Ingredients

1 lb Taco Seasoned 85% Lean Ground Beef

2 tsp all purpose flour

One 15-oz can black beans, drained, rinsed

12 to 14 oz restaurant-style corn tortilla chips

8 oz Monterey Jack cheese, shredded

8 oz Cheddar cheese, shredded

Accompaniments: Sour cream, guacamole, diced tomatoes, diced red onion, thinly sliced jalapeños, and cilantro leaves

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Heat large nonstick skillet over high heat. Add beef and cook, breaking up meat into large clusters, for 3 minutes, or until cooked through.
  2. Stir in flour and 1/3 cup water and cook 1 minute, or until sauce clings to beef. Fold beans through beef mixture. Season with salt.
  1. Arrange half of chips on large nonstick baking sheet. Top with half of beef mixture, then half of each cheese. Repeat layering with remaining chips, meat, and cheeses. Bake about 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted throughout and bubbling.
  2. Top nachos with sour cream, guacamole, tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, and cilantro.
