3 tbs fish sauce or 1/3 cup soy sauce
3 tbs sugar
2 tbs fresh lime juice
1 tbs finely chopped peeled fresh ginger
1 lb Caramelized Onion Seasoned 85% Lean Ground Beef, formed into 12 patties
1/3 cup mayonnaise
4 crusty French rolls, split open
1 cup fresh cilantro sprigs
1 carrot, julienned
1/2 English cucumber, shaved into ribbons with vegetable peeler
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. In medium bowl, whisk fish sauce or soy sauce, sugar, lime juice, ginger, and 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper. Set sauce aside.
- Oil grill grates, sprinkle beef patties with salt, and grill patties 2 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Transfer grilled patties to bowl with sauce and toss to coat.
- Spread mayo over rolls. Divide patties, cilantro, carrots, and cucumbers among rolls. Drizzle with remaining sauce.
